Hospice Care offers the community -

Bereavement Programs

  • The Hospice Care Bereavement Program continues to support families of the terminally ill for up to thirteen months after the death of the patient.   Care is individualized to meet the bereaved ones needs and schedule.

  • Grief Support Groups meet in all service areas and are scheduled according to participants' interests and locations throughout the year.
  • Grief issues specialists are available to speak to local schools, hospitals, churches, and civic organizations. HCC maintains a resource library of books and videos related to grief for our community to use.
  • HCC hosts an annual memorial service in each service area dedicated to those who have been served by our program.

Community Education

  • Hospice Care maintains a library of printed and video materials related to death and dying.   Interested individuals may check out these materials.
  • Speakers are available to community clubs, organizations, churches, and schools on a variety of topics including Hospice Care and issues related to death and dying.
